MADONNARA (noun): Italian word meaning female street-painter. 

 Trained by the streets of Florence, La Madonnara breathes  chalk dust.  Her hands are always dirty, and coins jingle in her tip baskets.

These drawings are made over the course of several days. The materials used are chalk pastel and powdered pigment. Upon completion, the artwork immediately begins to fade. The drawings vanish immediately with rain or heavy foot traffic.
